OH, i miss my French cheese. I am French but have been living in Eastern Africa for more than 5 years. I miss beautiful pleasures like this!
I do not know though if I should thank you or curse you for putting so much envy in fron of me as I do not go back to France before at least 5 months ;)

You can't show pictures like this to a cheese addict. I don't know what I might do if I can't get my French cheese fix!

Unbelievably lovely! I'm going to go bookmark that recipe and promptly add it to my holiday cheese binge right now :)

I just tried this - so delicious, yet so easy! Thanks for another great recipe!

I tried this recipe last night and it was tasty. I like it. The only problem I had was that the syrup all poured out onto the baking sheet when the cheese rise, and so I couldn't taste the sweetness. I was thinking that I should mix the toppings together with the syrup before spreading it on the brie. I was wondering if honey would stay better since it's thicker. Overall, I would make it for a small potluck party. Thank you!

Hi Damien, I agree the honey does stay better because of how thick it is. I like how it pours down the sides, but it seems like yours came all the way off. Perhpas a few holes in the top of the cheese would keep the cheese from rising too much?

We made this for our yarn shop's Christmas party. It was a big hit and I only took a smidgeon home. We had cookie sheets with parchment paper on them still, from baking cookies, so we baked it on parchment paper. The maple syrup did flow off the cheese and would have made an icky mess on the cookie sheet. Maybe we will try poking holes in the cheese, when we make it on Christmas Day and see if that helps. I can't wait to have some more. It was delicious!
